It’s 10:10 am and I have an afternoon shift. I adore these days as I get to take the whole morning for myself, spending my time writing, typing, cooking, cleaning... Not reading medical things or answering work emails of that kind, only nourishing this creative well within.
August and to be honest the whole summer has been filled to the brim.
I could complete my ear acupuncture course that I’ve been waiting for, for years, hosted 2 retreats, went to 2 water therapy trainings, worked at an internal ward and at a GP’s office + packed my life up after 7! years and moved in with my bf to a new apartment.
I have been struggling with insomnia from around the month of May, that has brought me a great deal of fatigue, emotional imbalance (grumpiness and despair too) and took me to a rock bottom around the middle of July. I believe I had to go so deep down to then be able to uproot and to start building on a fresh new solid ground. In my Human Design reading w Daniella @iranytuonmagadhoz, she said that in fact I could have been hitting a glass ceiling… Maybe I had to dive back down, touch ground to then be able to break through that ceiling.
My question ever since has been - what can I do today, even if it’s the tiniest step, to uplevel my life?
*by upleveling I mean creating a more aligned, true, expanded version of this little life of mine, that feels fully my own
Therefore I have been - saying small no’s, small yes’es and as expected, over a month they have been accumulating so much that my life’s been flourishing with new opportunities and ideas.

The symbol of the spiral keeps revisiting me this summer. The idea of returning to similar events, visions periodically has grasped my attention as I feel in many ways those visions I’ve had about retreats, treating ppl with acupuncture or working with water have all been brought to life at a whole new level after years of having them in my orbit. In fact, around 4 years ago I used to host vision board circles at every new moon and I have been feeling the urge to do so again… I definitely have been curating my IG ‘saved’ folder for myself - and I hope this inspires you to do so as well! (the perfect activity for these post virgo new moon days).
This season of ‘Late Summer’ might just be my favourite of all and I not only wrote about it extensively in my previous substack,
I have also created a whole ‘Home Retreat’ dedicated to this theme. It includes the support I believe we all need for a grounded transition - writing, rest, a new set of meals to support the body and an ayurvedic oil massage. (look at me writing extensively as a way to integrate).
Ripening into a New Season
Towards the middle of this month, we will be shifting into the 5th season according to Traditional Chinese Medicine. As summer melts into autumn, there’s a whole different season dedicated to this time of the year, that is represented by the Earth element and rules the digestive system.
